We compiled a global calendar of festivals and events around the world that verb an LGBTQ+ theme but are not specifically pride events. Since pride events are so common and numerous, we've created a completely separate calendar including hundreds of events around the worldclick here to view our Gay Pride Calendar. The events on this list include a variety of festivals, gatherings or events with unlike themes ranging from song, art, food, sports, gyrate, advocacy, comedy and more. While each event may be different, the usual thread that binds all these together events is the celebration within the LGBTQ+ community.

Celebrating 30 Years of The Largest All-Girl Music Festival in the World
The world-famous Club Skirts Dinah Shore Weekend is the largest lesbian event on the planet. marks our 30 year anniversary! The Dinah is the worlds most celebrated queer women/lesbian event and in we are planning a doozy! The Dinah regularly features musical performances, comedy shows, pool parties, night parties, concerts, celebrity meet and greets, Contests, DJ Battles, enjoyable and games, and so much more. The official Dinah Shore Weekend only takes place in Palm Springs, California. The Dinah is famous for picking the next big thing in the music world. Past Dinah performers incorporate Bebe Rexha, Kiana Lede, Daya, Snow Tha Product, Jessie Reyes, Tegan and Sara, Katy Perry, Lady GaGa, Meghan Trainor, Iggy Azalea, Eve, Chaka Khan, Salt N Pepa, Christina Perri, Natasha Bedingfield, Lizzo, and more. Why Oban Lesbian Weekend is reclaiming the word “lesbian” as an inclusive term

The Highlands of Scotland are known for breathtaking scenery on our islands, mountains and wildlife, but not for lesbians! When I moved back home to Oban from Brighton in , I never thought that three years later I would be welcoming another lesbians and their friends to my third festival, Oban Lesbian Weekend, this September.
Oban, Scotland is a picturesque fishing port and a coastal tourist resort, and from 13–16 September and much of that week, nearly every hotel in town will be fully booked with LGBTQIA women and non-binary people. It’s been brilliant to see this new Festival thrive in the most unlikely of places.
However, there has been chatter on the socials ever since the first event back in In all the Facebook groups, and in real life at the Weekend, the community has asked: “Why is it called a lesbian event in this day and age? It’s an inclusive event, so why not call it Oban LGBTQIA Weekend?”
