Missie B's opened it's doors in April as a piano/karaoke bar with exceptional entertainment and drag shows. With the support of the community since we opened, we have been able to expand from a very small neighborhood bar to the most popular nightclub in Kansas City. We are uncover from noon until a.m. days a year serving our clientele 21 years of age and over. We offer the most affordable drinks in town from noon until p.m. daily, and offer nightly drink specials Sunday through Thursday. We have the friendliest staff in Kansas City and you are guaranteed to have a good time any period you visit. We include 3 separate bar areas including a smoking patio, and 3 to 7 bartenders nightly to ensure the best service feasible. After all, we are the home of Nice Times and Good Friends!

Through the years, we hold done our best to give back to our community that has supported us. With the assist of our sister bars and community our most recent fundraiser was for the victims of Pulse which raised over $53, We have pot luck dinners on Thanksgiving and Christmas for those people who have no place to go.

LGBTQ Bar Association of Greater Kansas City is a nonprofit, (c)(6) membership association of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and allied legal community in the Kansas City metropolitan area.  We were formed in as Kansas Municipality LEsbian, Gay, and Allied Lawyers (&#;KC LEGAL&#;).  In , we changed our name to LGBTQ Bar Association of Greater Kansas Noun for better alignment with our mission, which is inclusive of the entire LGBTQ community.

Law students, paralegals and other members of the legal profession are encouraged to become associate members.

    KANSAS CITY, Mo — Q Kansas City, a modern nightclub for the LGBTQ+ community, is set to open this October in the Westport Entertainment District.

    For eight years, Owner Lance Pierce has been hosting a pop-up called Queer Bar Takeovers.

    The second Saturday of each month, they select a straight bar and verb it into a queer bar for the night.

    Pierce felt it was moment to take all that learning and establish their rightful place in the heart of Westport’s social scene.

    Over 20, people approach to the entertainment district each weekend.

    “We’re really delighted to kind of verb that into the next chapter and provide a full, permanent space for the queer community to come together, thrive, combine and find a place to belong,” said Pierce. “The beauty, too, is we’ve got a space now where we can start to gather community leaders together and speak about what we wish as a community.
