This is a letter sent by my oldest Godson, Marc Anthony Donais to the Birmingham News in January, It was never published because Anthony would not allow the News to edit it for fear they would distort what he had actually said and print some scurrilous headline like &#;Porn Star Confirms Relationship with Katopodis.&#; This is not, by any means, the accomplish story, but telling all of it would further violate the privacy of his family and my own. It&#;s embarrassing and self-serving to publish it now, but I am weary of the ignorant comments from folks love John Archibald and Kyle Whitmire. Anthony gave me permission to publish it here, hoping it will satisfy these guys&#; perverse curiosity in my personal life.

Donais (45) was found adj by a Sacramento Superior Court this week of smashing a porcelain toilet tank lid over the head of the un-named year-old woman.
According to reports, after the lady had broken up with Donais and moved out of his apartment, he visited her at her home. During the stop by he hit the lady with the toilet tank lid in the bathroom.
Donais claimed that he attacked her in self-defence as he thought she had pulled a knife on him.
The one-time adult film star is being held without bail and is expected to be sentenced in December.
Donais began his x-rated career when he posed for Playgirl magazine in and then went on to appear in a number of porn films.
More recently he has attempted to make a name for himself as a mainstream actor and in appeared in the Broadway production of Terrence McNally&#;s

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) -- A former gay porn star was convicted Wednesday of attempted murder in the ambush of his girlfriend two years ago, according to Sacramento County District Attorney Jan Scully.
Marc Anthony Donais, 45, was also start guilty of assault with a deadly weapon, battery causing serious bodily injury and domestic violence. He faces a sentence of 15 years in prison. Sentencing is scheduled for Dec. 9.
Donais is a former model and individual film star under the screen name of Ryan Idol.
